Established in 1969, the HVCCDE is a non-profit, social car club dedicated to lovers of all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles.
For over 50 years, we’ve offered shows, cruise-ins, meet-ups and technical advice to help you appreciate, show off and keep your special ride on the road. New members and guests are always welcome. Check our events page for upcoming activities.


We had 65 beautiful cars at the annual St. Bernadette’s Show in Harrington on Saturday, June 6th. Tom Rosinski’s ‘57 T-Bird took Best of Show and Rich Dwin’s ‘62 Pontiac Grand Prix was the Knights of Columbus Choice award, thanks to all attendees the Knights of Columbus for providing food and music and to all the HVCCDE members who helped with set up, registration, parking and clean-up, the show was a huge success.

10:15 am- Meet at Visitor’s Center, John Dickinson

10:30-12:30- Enjoy informative program and guided tour of Mansion
and Grounds
12:45- 1:45 Lunch in Dover at Countrie Eaterie, 950 N. State St., Dover, DE. Includes a brief and Informative club meeting.
2:00- Meet at the Old State House for a guided tour of the building
and the historic Dover Green where Delaware troops drilled.
4:00- Program concludes
This program is free for members and their guests, but historic sites may accept donations to defray their costs. We hope all participants will join us for lunch, but the cost of lunch is on you. We are limited to 30 people for each program, so sign up early. Each site will make every effort to arrange secure parking for your classic vehicle.
